French toast makes a great smoko

French toast makes a great smoko (breakfast) meal and is quick and easy to make. It is our weekend breakfast and can be prepared quickly when we come in from the morning harvesting session. The ingredients are basic and always available. I usually serve it up with jam and cream or syrup depending whats on hand. It also goes well with fresh banana and papaya.
