Meet Jon and Maria Lorenzo, the dynamic duo behind our family-owned certified organic farm, where the journey from soil to jar is a labor of love and dedication. Our life together began in a small fishing village in the Basque country in the north of Spain. Jon was studying his masterclass 4 in maritime while working as a skipper on a fishing trawler and I had travelled to Spain to study Spanish. Together we travelled back to Australia and soon after we moved to Lakeland, Cape York, to work. Here the rich red volcanic soils of Lakeland ignited a passion for organic farming and our small family run farm business Lakeland Produce was created.
